Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Public Works Capital Budget to add Ramsey County funding and transfer funding from 2021 Municipal State Aid Contingency to the 2020 Randolph Sidewalk Project.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the City plans to construct sidewalks on McKnight from Mailand to Londin Lane and on Randolph from Toronto to Shepard; and

WHEREAS, the City plans to include the McKnight sidewalk with the 2020 Randolph Sidewalk Project; and

WHEREAS, Ramsey County has agreed to fund 50% of these projects; and

WHEREAS, the project estimates have identified a need for additional County and City funding; and

WHEREAS, there is a need to add $200,000 of Ramsey County funding to the 2020 Randolph Sidewalk Project; and

 

WHEREAS, there is a need to transfer $200,000 of MSA from 2021 MSA Contingency to the 2020 Randolph Sidewalk Project; and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there is available for appropriation funds of $200,000; and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.4 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there is available for transfer of appropriation funds of $200,000; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $200,000 is available for appropriation and that $200,000 is available for transfer of appropriation in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvements Budgets in the following particulars:
