Amending the financing and spending plans in the General Government account in the amount $406,569 for the funding received from the State of Minnesota Department of Human Services Emergency Services Program COVID-19 Response funds.
Body
WHEREAS, the CIty of Saint Paul applied for and received funding of $406,569 from the State of Minnesota Department of Human Services Emergency Services Program COVID-19 Response funds to help pay for costs relating to the unsheltered homeless; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul received approval to apply for funding relating to COVID-19 on RES 20-600; and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the funding received; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation of funds $406,569 in excess of those estimated in the 2020 budget; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts this grant and hereby authorizes the changes to the 2020 budget as specified in the attached financial analysis.
