Approving the application with conditions, per the Deputy Legislative Hearing Officer, for Metro Diesel Mechanic LLC (License ID #20200001862), d/b/a same, for an Auto Repair Garage license at 475 Como Avenue.

WHEREAS, Metro Diesel Mechanic (License ID # 20200001862), d/b/a same, located at 475 Como Avenue, has applied for Class N licenses for Auto Repair Garage license; and
WHEREAS, an objection to the Auto Repair Garage license was received within the notification period, and a hearing was held on November 16, 2020 and
WHEREAS, after conducting the hearing and considering the testimonies and presented materials, the Deputy Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the application for Metro Diesel Mechanic (License ID # 20200001862), d/b/a same, at 475 Como Avenue, be approved with the following conditions:
1. All customer and employee vehicles must be parked in accordance with and in the area shown on the dated approved site plan on file with the Department of Safety and Inspections (DSI). The total number of vehicles parked shall not exceed that shown on the approved plan.
2. The parking lot shall be striped and maintained in accordance with the dated approved site plan on file with DSI.
3. There shall be no exterior storage of vehicle parts, tires, oil or any other similar materials associated with the business. Trash will be stored in a covered dumpster. Storage of vehicle fluids, batteries, etc. shall be in accordance with the Ramsey County Hazardous Waste regulations.
4. At no time shall customer, employee, and/or business vehicles be parked in the driveway or in the public right-of-way (e.g., street, alley, sidewalk, boulevard, etc.). This includes, but is not limited to vehicles awaiting repair, and/or that have been repaired and are awaiting pick-up by the owner of the vehicle.
5. The storage of vehicles for the purpose of salvaging parts is expressly forbidden. Vehicle salvage is not permitted.
