Approving the Memorandum of Agreement (May 1, 2020 - April 30, 2021) between the City of Saint Paul and the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers, Local 10. (To be laid over one week for adoption)

WHEREAS, the Memorandum of Agreement (May 1, 2020 - April 30, 2021) between the City of Saint Paul and the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers, Local 10 corrects inaccurately calculated wage rates in Appendix C as adopted in the Maintenance Labor Agreement (May 1, 2020 - April 20, 2021) between the City of Saint Paul and the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers, Local 10 (Resolution 20-1311); and
WHEREAS, the previous Maintenance Labor Agreement (May 1, 2020 - April 30, 2021) between the City of Saint Paul and the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers, Local 10 was withdrawn from the City Council agenda (Res 20-1031) and corrected; and
WHEREAS, the last Maintenance Labor Agreement between the City of Saint Paul and the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers, Local 10, which was approved by Saint Paul City Council on June 14, 2017, continues in full force and effect through April 30, 2020, and thereafter until modified or amended by mutual agreement of the parties; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul and the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers, Local 10 reached a tentative agreement on a Memorandum of Agreement to correct Appendix C regarding the wage rate error in the new Maintenance Labor Agreement, that once approved, shall be effective as of May 1, 2020, and shall continue in full force and effect through April 30, 2021, and thereafter until modified or amended by mutual agreement of the parties; and therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council, pursuant to the Saint Paul City Charter Section 6.03.03 (5) hereby approves and ratifies the attached Memorandum of Agreement (May 1, 2020 - April 30, 2021) between the City of Saint Paul and the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers, Local 10.
