Amending the 2018 Port Grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency to add budget and activity budget for this grant.

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department was awarded and accepted the 2018 Port Security Grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (RES PH 18-360); and

WHEREAS, the 2020 financing and spending plan needs to be amended and activity budget added for these funds; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $849,399 in excess of those estimated in the 2020 budget and recommends the following changes; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approves these changes to the 2020 budget.
