Title

Approving an amendment to Lease Agreement PR/10 for land abutting and incorporated into the Cayuga Playground to extend the term through April 30, 2022.

 

Body

WHEREAS, since 1976 the City has leased from the State of Minnesota Department of Transportation a parcel of land adjacent to the city-owned Cayuga Playground, which it has incorporated into the said playground; and

 

WHEREAS, it is the intention of the parties to the Lease Agreement PR/10 to amend the current lease to extend the term, from May 1, 2020 through April 30, 2022, at a rental rate of $860 per year; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and directed to amend Lease Agreement PR/10 by executing "Amendment of Commercial Lease No. 10" in a form and content substantially as set forth in the attached Exhibit A, and subject to approval by the City attorney.
