Purpose of Appeal:  We were unaware of condemnation that would lead to vacant building.  Repair was corrected at last inspection.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Shai Leibovich to a Vacant Building Registration Fee Warning Letter at 980 CONWAY STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant to April 1 May 1, 2020 to have Fire Certificate of Occupancy reinstated or property must be vacated and waive VB fee for 90 days to April 23, 2020 and allow permits to be pulled (noting a Fire Certificate of Occupancy with Deficiencies will be issued April 1, 2020); Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
