Preliminary Order setting the date of Public Hearing for April 15, 2020 to consider approval of the 2020 Saint Paul Streets Program (2020 SPS).

 

Body

In the Matter of approving all necessary work for the reconstruction of streets in the 2020 Saint Paul Streets Program, proposed improvements are outlined for each project area in the attached Summary of Engineering Recommendations (SOER).

 

The streets to be improved are as follows:

 

                     Griggs/Scheffer Residential Area:                     Bounded by Randolph Avenue, Hamline Avenue S., Edgcumbe Road, and Scheffer Avenue

                     Como Avenue: From 33rd Avenue to Brompton Street

                     Tedesco Street:  West of Otsego Street to Payne Avenue

 

The Council of the City of Saint Paul, having received the report of the Mayor upon the above improvement and having considered said report, hereby resolves:

 

1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $25,309,600, financed by Street Reconstruction Bonds, Municipal State Aid, Federal Grant, Saint Paul Regional Water Services funding, and Sewer funds.

 

2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 15th day of April, 2020, at 5:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of Saint Paul.

 

3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
