WHEREAS on November 13, 2019, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. RLH AR 19-133, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessment for Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during April to June 2019. (File No. CG1903D2, Assessment No. 190134); and
WHEREAS, the property at 1153 Payne Avenue, being described as: Joseph R. Weide’s Addition to the City of St. Paul, Minn. Lots 4 & Lot 5 Blk 2, with the property identification number 29-29-22-12-0115 was assessed an amount of $96.08; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff recommends deleting the assessment as it should have not been billed because there was an unoccupied dwelling form filled by the owner; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer concurs with the recommendation; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the reduction of $96.08, plus any accrued interests, is deleted and the Offices of Financial Services will abate this from the 2020 Property Taxes Statement.
