Stated Reason for Appeal (if given): PO stated he don't understand why he owes the City money when he have paid every bills.  His account is 0.  Why isn't Republic paying the City.

Staff Comments:  The property owner did not make a payment during Quarter 1 2019. The payment history is as follows: $102.44 on 12/26/18, $107.56 on 5/14/19, and $102.44 on 7/25/19. The property owner made 1 payment for Quarter 4 2018 and 2 payments for Quarter 2 2019. The property owner is responsible for paying this pending assessment.

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section has attached to this Council File both a report of completion outlining the costs and fees associated with Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during January to March 2019. (File No. CG1902D1-1, Assessment No. 190143) and the assessment roll including all properties for which these assessments are proposed for Council ratification; and

WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed an appeal of this assessment and developed a recommendation for the City Council with respect to this assessment; and

WHEREAS, a public hearing having been conducted for the above improvement, and said assessment having been further considered by the Council and having been considered financially satisfactory; Now, Therefore, Be It
