Appeal of Dale Carlquist to a Correction Notice at 1341 FOREST STREET.

Purpose of Appeal: The pile of top soil that we were cited on was purchased for me, the co-owner, to perform an extensive amount of landscaping on our property. Because of how late in the year the correction notice was given to us, there is an inadaquate amount of time to perform the landscaping before freezing temperatures generally occur. This will lead to the failure of the project. Because of this, I am requesting that I be able to perform the work in 2020.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Dale Carlquist to a Correction Notice at 1341 FOREST STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal and grant an extension to June 1, 2020 for compliance; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
