Stated Reason for Appeal (if given): Resident is stating that he is not going to pay for the additional garbage cart that he has never received service for. He said that he has not had his garbage adjusted as he does not have the second cart. He called into RS in early January and they removed the second cart.
Staff Comments: Records show that Republic Services removed the 2nd cart on 1/22/19. Republic was not supposed to remove a cart at all. City ordinance requires a garbage cart and service for each occupied unit. Because Republic removed the cart, staff recommends deleting the assessment. Because one unit is unoccupied, staff sent the proprety owner an Unoccupied Dwelling Registration Form to set up the vacancy.
