Pertaining to the retirement of Saint Paul Regional Water Services Assistant General Manager, Steve Gleason.
Body
WHEREAS, Steve Gleason has faithfully served the Board of Water Commissioners for over 35 years; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Gleason has provided strong leadership at SPRWS and has acted as staff representative at many meetings of the Board of Water Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Gleason has distinguished himself in his service in the responsible positions of Civil Engineer, Distribution Division Manager, Business Division Manager and Assistant General Manager; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Gleason has been instrumental in providing leadership in nearly every aspect of SPRWS and providing sound management practices that have benefited SPRWS; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Gleason was instrumental in replacing or upgrading many of the computer systems that still are in service to this day including the Customer Information System and our Document Management System; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Gleason has decided to retire from the Saint Paul Regional Water Services effective October 31, 2019; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Board of Water Commissioners commends Steve Gleason for his outstanding and dedicated service; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the members of the Board of Water Commissioners extend to Steve Gleason and his family their best wishes.
