Knight Foundation Gift Acceptance Resolution

WHEREAS, the Augmenting Cities conference is being held in Oakland, CA on September 23-24, 2019
WHEREAS, the Library wishes to accept airfare and hotel accommodations paid for by the Knight Foundation to support one Library staff member to attend the conference; and
WHEREAS, attendance at the conference will further the Library’s strategic direction goals of supporting an inclusive and innovative local economy; igniting curiosity and building skills for an increasingly technology-driven world; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul Public Library Board accepts the gift of travel and lodging for a Library staff member to attend the conference and thanks Knight Foundation for its generous gift.
