Approving the Mayor’s appointment of Nathaniel Hood to the Planning Commission.

WHEREAS, Saint Paul Administrative Code Section 107.02 states that the Saint Paul Planning Commission shall consist of twenty-one (21) voting members appointed by the Mayor, with the consent of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the Council previously approved Kris Fredson’s reappointment to the Planning Commission via RES 19-36 for a term ending January 1, 2022; and
WHEREAS, Kris Fredson resigned from the Planning Commission in March 2019 creating a vacancy, and
WHEREAS, Nathaniel Hood has applied for consideration for appointment to the Planning Commission and has been recommended by staff for appointment; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Carter wishes to appoint Nathaniel Hood to a 3 year term on the Planning Commission ending January 1, 2022; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council consents to the appointment of Nathaniel Hood to the Saint Paul Planning Commission for a partial term ending January 1, 2022.
