Authorizing the City of Saint Paul to approve the 2019 final Operating Plan/Operating Budget for the CHS Field Ballpark.
Body
WHEREAS, the October 23, 2013 Ballpark Use Agreement by and between City of Saint Paul and Saint Paul Saints Baseball Club, Inc. specifies the Saints will prepare initial and ongoing Operating Plan/Operating Budget for approval by the City; and
WHEREAS, the Operating Plan/Operating Budget must be updated annually; and
WHEREAS, the Operating Plan/Operating Budget shall accommodate the Saints’ operating and schedule requirements; and
WHEREAS, Office of Financial Services and Parks Department have reviewed the 2019 Operating Budget and approve the current 2019 budget as a working document for the upcoming baseball season; and
WHEREAS, the City’s approval must be evidenced by City Council resolution; and
WHEREAS, a certified copy of the City Council resolution must be supplied to the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development and the Commissioner of Management and Budget; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul approves the 2019 final Operating Plan/Operating Budget for the CHS Field Ballpark and directs the City Clerk to provide a certified copy of this resolution to the the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development and the Commissioner of Management and Budget.
