Authorizing the City to enter into an agreement with Ramsey County for Right of Way acquisition related to construction of the Lexington Parkway realignment from Adrian Street to Albion Avenue.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul and Ramsey County desire to realign Lexington Parkway (County State Aid Highway 51) between Albion Street and West 7th Street and make certain improvements associated with said realignment; and
WHEREAS, the realignment requires Right of Way (ROW) acquisition; and
WHEREAS, the ROW acquired under this agreement, excluding the ROW acquired for Adrian Street, will be owned and maintained by Ramsey County; and
WHEREAS, the ROW acquired for Adrian Street will be owned and maintained by the City; and
WHEREAS, the City’s share of the estimated cost of the ROW acquisition is included in the 2019 Capital Improvement Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to enter into Ramsey County Agreement PUBW2019-05R, a copy of which is before Council and is made a part hereof; and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
