Setting fine amount for violations of Saint Paul Legislative Code Chapter 48.

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council has added Chapter 48 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code, setting a violation of any provision of the chapter to be a petty misdemeanor; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council recommends that the fine for violation of any provision under Chapter 48 be set at $300 plus costs; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council requests the Ramsey County District Court to amend the City of Saint Paul’s Fine Schedule to reflect the following changes:
Saint Paul Legislative Code Chapter 48 - Penalties. Each violation under chapter 48 shall be a petty misdemeanor, for which the fine shall be $300 (three hundred dollars).
