Approving the Mayor’s appointment of Erika Sanders to her second three-year term on the Human Rights and Equal Economic Opportunity Commission.

WHEREAS, Saint Paul Legislative Code Section 183.19 (1) states that the Human Rights and Equal Economic Opportunity Commission consists of twenty-one (21) members appointed by the mayor with the consent of the council; and
WHEREAS, in RES 15-1709, Erika Sanders was appointed by Mayor Coleman with the consent of the council to serve her first three-year term as a commissioner; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Carter wishes to reappoint Erika Sanders to the Human Rights and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for her second three-year term ending on July 10, 2021; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council consents to the reappointment of Erika Sanders to a three-year term ending July 10, 2021 as a commissioner on the Human Rights and Equal Economic Opportunity Commission.
