Approving the Mayor’s reappointment of Sheronda Orridge (Cooper) to serve as a commissioner on the Human Rights and Equal Economic Opportunity Commission.

WHEREAS, Saint Paul Legislative Code Section 183.19 (1) states that the Human Rights and Equal Economic Opportunity Commission consists of twenty-one (21) members appointed by the mayor with the consent of the council; and
WHEREAS, in RES 17-1684, Sheronda Orridge (Cooper) was appointed by Mayor Coleman with the consent of the council to serve her first partial term as a commissioner beginning in October of 2017 and expiring March 1, 2018; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Carter wishes to reappoint Sheronda Orridge to the Human Rights and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for her second three-year term ending on March 30, 2021; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council consents to the reappointment of Sheronda Orridge (Cooper) to serve as a commissioner on the Human Rights and Equal Economic Opportunity Commission for a term ending on March 30, 2021.
