Purpose of Appeal: I requested additional time from the City to resolve issues on numerous occasions and received no response. The most recent received is attached. Since my letter was written, the following items have been...addressed: Garbage removed; sidewalk removed; stairs removed, permit to rebuild stairs pulled; front stairs fixed; dryer ducts replaced, permit pulled; AC permit issue resolved, screws fixed, replaced. Appellant included only the Revocation of Fire C of O and Order to Vacate with the Application for Appeal, but that order is untimely. Staff found the vacant building order, which is timely. No photos. -rrn
Legislative Hearings Email received an email from the appellant indicating they were withdrawing the appeal and filing their vacant building registration form. They sent it to us and it's attached. Racquel will be following up to make sure they understand they will then owe the vacant building fee and if it goes unpaid, it will be processed as an assessment. WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Phonsavanh Phithaksounthone to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 1520 ALBEMARLE STREET and 1522 ALBEMARLE STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council [recommendation]; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
