Accepting the gift of the cost of airfare and lodging from Government Finance Officers Association, for Michael Solomon, Treasurer of OFS, to lead a session and attend the 112th Annual GFOA conference in St. Louis, MO on May 4th-9th 2018.

WHEREAS, the Government Finance Officers Association will convene in St. Louis, MO on May 4th-9th, 2018; and
WHEREAS, Government Finance Officers Association has offered to pay some costs associated with city staff attending the conference, including airfare and lodging; and
WHEREAS, the city believes that having city staff attend the Government Finance Officers Association will be beneficial by equipping Saint Paul with the ideas and tools to advance Treasury ideas and practices; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby accepts the gift for the airfare and lodging for the Government Finance Officers Association Annual conference and thanks Government Finance Officers Association for its generous gift.
