Body

WHEREAS on March 7, 2018, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. AR 18-6 to delete the assessment for Excessive Use of Inspection or Abatement services billed during August 21 to September 21, 2017. (File No. J1805E, Assessment No. 188304); and

WHEREAS, the property at 530 Farrington Street, being described as: Lot 7 Block 22 of Warren & Rice’s Addition, to SA Subj to Alley & Ex N 42 Ft; Lots 7 & Lot 8 Blk 22, with the property identification number 36-29-23-13-0121 was assessed an amount of $157; and

WHEREAS, Department of Safety and Inspections staff recommends deleting the assessment because the excessive inspection fee should not have occurred;

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer concurs with the recommendation; Now, Therefore, Be It

RESOLVED, that the reduction of $157, plus any accrued interests, be deleted.  Council File No. RLH AR 18-6 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
