Body
WHEREAS, the Second Hand Dealer-Motor Vehicle license held by 555 University, LLC d/b/a Kath Auto Sales (License ID# 20120005592) for the premises located at 545 University Avenue West in Saint Paul was the subject of a Notice of Intent to Suspend License dated March 14, 2018, stating the licensee failed to pay delinquent license and late fees and submit the required workers’ compensation information; and

WHEREAS, per Saint Paul Legislative Code §310.05 (m) (2), the licensing office also recommended a $500.00 matrix penalty for failure to submit required information to maintain the license; and

WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Suspend License to pay the delinquent license and late fees and submit the required workers’ compensation information, request a public hearing or cancel the license; and

WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Suspend License stated that if the licensee failed to pay the delinquent license and late fees and submit the required workers’ compensation information, request a public hearing or cancel the license by March 26, 2018, that the matter would be placed on the next available consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, the Second Hand Dealer-Motor Vehicle license held by 555 University, LLC d/b/a Kath Auto Sales (License ID# 20120005592) for the premises located at 545 University Avenue West is hereby suspended.

FURTHER RESOLVED, the licensee is ordered to pay a matrix penalty of $500.00 for failure to submit required workers’ compensation information to maintain the license.

FINALLY RESOLVED, the license will remain suspended until all delinquent license and late fees are paid in full and the required workers’ compensation information is submitted to the Department of Safety...
