Title

Amending the 2018 financing and spending plans in the Police Department grant fund in the amount of $125,000 for the Terrorism Recruitment Prevention Grant award.

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department was awarded and accepted the Terrorism Recruitment Prevention 2018 grant from the State of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety (RES 18-26); and

WHEREAS, the 2018 financing and spending plan needs to be amended and activity budget added for these funds; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $125,000 in excess of those estimated in the 2018 budget and recommends the following changes; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approves these changes to the 2018 budget.
