Title

Authorizing the Police Department to enter into a Facilities Use Agreement with Team Rubicon, a non-profit, veteran lead disaster response group, to allow storage for a disaster response trailer.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul would like to enter into a Facilities Use Agreement with Team Rubicon, a non-profit, veteran lead disaster response group; and

 

WHEREAS, Team Rubicon will be issuing a disaster response trailer which contains equipment for the Minnesota team to have a quick reaction response to natural disasters in the region; and

 

WHEREAS, the Police Department has space to store the trailer at the department’s Citywide Services location located at 1820 Edgcumbe Road at no cost to the organization; and

 

WHEREAS, the public purpose is that the trailer can be quickly accessed and the Team Rubicon group can respond and be available to the Saint Paul community at any time of need; and

 

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that council authorizes the City of Saint Paul to enter into and Assistant Chief Kathleen Wuorinen to implement the Facilities Use Agreement with Team Rubicon.
