Title
Amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Emergency Management in the amount of $33,850 for the 2016 Pre-Disaster Mitigation Grant.
Body
WHEREAS, the Department of Emergency Management applied for and received a grant of $73,218.75 from the State of Minnesota for the 2016 Pre-Disaster Mitigation Grant to develop and write the required Hazard Mitigation plan; and
WHEREAS, the grant includes a match of $24,406.25 which will be met with Emergency Management employee salaries; and
WHEREAS, the spending and financing for this grant was previously approved by the City Council on Public Hearing Resolution PH 17-123; and
WHEREAS, the spending and financing plan have not been established in 2018 for the grant received; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $33,850.00 in excess of those estimated in the 2018 budget; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends the following additional changes be made to the 2018 budget:

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approves the changes to the 2018 budget references in this resolution.
