AMENDED 12/20/17

 

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Todd Delack, Archer Properties Group, to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 559 SMITH AVENUE SOUTH, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant to January 1, 2018 to comply with all the appealed items, except 1) grant to June 1, 2018 to comply with the siding; forthcoming on Items 1,3, & 9 2) grant 90 days to comply correcting the dryer vent and basement stairwell; and 3) grant 90 days to provide all engineering and related documents necessary for a building permit to repair the garage’s structural issues and if this deadline is met, grant an additional 90 days to implement the repairs or additional enforcement action will be taken; Item 2 4) deny appeal on the requirement for Landlord 101 class; and 5) note that Item 5 is withdrawn by DSI; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
