Title

Amending Council File No. RLH AR 17-57 to delete the assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Registration Fees billed during November 10, 2016 to February 27, 2017 at 854 LAWSON AVENUE EAST. (File No. VB1712, Assessment No. 178816).

 

Body

WHEREAS on August 2, 2017, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. AR 17-57 to delete the assessment for Collection of Vacant Building Registration Fees billed during November 10, 2016 to February 27, 2017. (File No. VB1712, Assessment No. 178816); and

 

WHEREAS, the property at 854 Lawson Avenue East, being described as: E. M. Mackubin’s 2nd Addition Lot 7 Blk 1, with the property identification number 28-29-22-23-0165 was assessed an amount of $2,240.00; and

 

WHEREAS, Property Owner, Jasce Lee, contacted our office stating that the assessment was assessed to his property.  The Legislative Hearing Officer recommended a 90-day waiver from March 28, 2017 to complete the project.  The owner received its code compliance certificate on June 23, 2017 which is within the 90 days;

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends deleting the assessment; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the reduction of $2,240, plus any accrued interests, be deleted.  Council File No. RLH AR 17-57 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
