Authorizing the Ford Parkway Bridge Erosion Remedy and Mississippi River Boulevard Outfall Reconstruction Project; and amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Public Works by adding $280,000 Saint Paul Sewer funding, and transferring $275,000 from Municipal State Aid (MSA) Contingency into the project.

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works plans to enter into a cost share agreement with Ramsey County on the Ford Parkway Bridge Erosion Remedy and Mississippi River Boulevard Outfall Reconstruction Project; and
WHEREAS, Public Works plans to add $280,000 of Sewer funding to the Ford Parkway Bridge Erosion Remedy and Mississippi River Boulevard Outfall Reconstruction Project to cover the outfall reconstruction portion of this project; and

WHEREAS, Public Works plans to transfer $275,000 from MSA Contingency to the Ford Parkway Bridge Erosion Remedy and Mississippi River Boulevard Outfall Reconstruction Project to cover the City’s cost share of the retaining wall construction on this project; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there is available for appropriation of funds of $280,000; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.4 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there is available for transfer of appropriation funds of $275,000; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $280,000 is available for appropriation and $275,000 is available for transfer of appropriation in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvements Budgets in the following particulars:
