Accepting a sidewalk easement for the Ecumen development.
Body
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works ("Public Works) of the City of Saint Paul ("City") is requiring a permanent sidewalk easement ("the Easement") over a property located along Luther Place between Como Avenue and Grantham Street, said property owned by Ecumen, a non-profit corporation (the "Property Owner"); and
WHEREAS, the Property Owner has agreed to provide the Easement and is now requesting that the City accept the Easement, as provided in Exhibit A attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, Public Works has reviewed and approved the Easement as attached; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Council of the City of Saint Paul do hereby accept the Easement as set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto, and authorize the proper city officials to record same with the Ramsey County Recorder's Office and/or Registrar of Titles.
