Amending Council File RLH SAO 16-51, adopted December 21, 2016, to grant Ken Hamblin an additional extension to a Summary Abatement Order for property at 889 EUCLID STREET.

WHEREAS, on December 21, 2016, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File #RLH SAO 16-51, said Resolution being the memorialization of an appeal decision to a Summary Abatement Order for property at 889 Euclid Street; and
WHEREAS, in that appeal, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommended that the ; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council City Council granted Ken Hamblin an extension until January 13, 2017 to bring the property into compliancein this matter; and
WHEREAS, per request of the Councilmember, a Legislative Hearing was held on February 7, 2017 to review this case for granting an additional extension; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends the City Council 1) grant to February 17, 2017 for the removal of the closed door(s) related items (fridge, freezer), tires, tarps, stove, and other hazardous materials; 2) grant to April 1, 2017 to reduce the volume (as measured on February 17, 2017) of the excessive accumulation in half; and 3) grant to June 1, 2017 for the abatement of the remaining items; Now Therefore, Be It,
RESOLVED, that extensions are hereby recommended as outlined above.
