Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to accept a donation of $500 from Ward 6 (Eric Foster-Owner), a community partner and local restaurant on the East Side of St. Paul, for an East area holiday party.

Body

WHEREAS, Ward 6 wishes to donate $500.00 towards the East Area Holiday Party (Dinner with Santa) held at Dayton’s Bluff Recreation Center on December 6, 2016; and

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department would like to accept this donation from Ward 6 to be used to help fund this event at Dayton’s Bluff Recreation Center; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts the donation in the amount of $500.00,  appropriates it for the intended use and thanks  Eric Foster of Ward 6 for the generous donation.
