WHEREAS, on August 19, 2016, pursuant to Section 11(e) of the district cooling franchise (City Ordinance CF 07-1109 adopted December 12, 2007, and modified by City Ordinance CF 13-45, adopted September 25, 2013), District Energy St. Paul, Inc. filed a rate change notice as of October 1, 2016, with the City:
Demand: $27.41 per ton per month
Energy: $0.098 per ton per hour; and
WHEREAS, on August 19, 2016, pursuant to Section 6(e) of the district heating franchise (City Ordinance CF 07-1108 adopted December 12, 2007, and modified by City Ordinance CF 13-45, adopted September 25, 2013), District Energy St. Paul, Inc. filed a rate change notice as of October 1, 2016, with the City:
Single Rate: $0.0621 per kilowatt per hour
Two Part Rate:
Demand: $5.37 per kilowatt per month
Energy: $24.15 per megawatt-hour, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, the Mayor and the City Council acknowledge the receipt of this notice and direct the Office of Financial Services to review and analyze the rate changes, and report back to the City Council on its findings within 180 days.
