Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the Police Department grant fund for the Body Worn Camera grant.

Body

WHEREAS, the department finds it necessary to increase the 2016 budget in the Police Special Grant Fund from existing fund balance, to more accurately reflect the grant expenditures for the year, specifically as it relates to the Body Worn Camera grant (RES 15-2106); and

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $535,508  in excess of those estimated in the 2016 budget; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends that the following addition be made to the 2016 budget; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the city council approves these changes to the 2016 grant budget.
