Title

Amending the financing and spending budgets in the Department of Public Works in the amount of $5,681 to add Ramsey County funding and transfer $6,580 from MSA Contingency into the Signalized Intersection Program.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works has an agreement (PW2015-10) with Ramsey County to have  City Forces install Accessible Pedestrian Signals (APS) on the 2015 Ramsey County Mill and Overlay Projects, White Bear Avenue and Cleveland Avenue; and

 

WHEREAS, the traffic signal work was more than estimated requiring an additional amount of $5,681 from Ramsey County and $6,580 from the MSA Contingency, and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation, funds of $5,681 in the Capital Improvement Budgets; and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.4 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for transfer, funds of $6,580 in the Capital Improvement Budgets; so

 

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $5,681 is available for appropriation and $6,580 is available for transfer in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvement Budgets in the following particulars:

The Saint Paul Long-Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee Received this request on September 12, 2016.  The Committee approved of the resolution.
