Appeal of Casey Doyle to a Vacant Building Registration Renewal Notice at 1048 VAN SLYKE AVENUE.

Purpose of Appeal:  We purchased this property in Dec. 2015 & have been renovating it since purchase.  Our contractor, Verus Builders, will be complete with the renovation by the end of October 2016.  This is the house that our family calls home.

Body

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Casey Doyle to a Vacant Building Registration Renewal Notice at 1048 VAN SLYKE AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council waive the vacant building fee for 90 days and owner to secure the pool gates until the repairs are completed; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
