Accepting the gift of the cost of airfare, lodging, and some meal expenses from the Aspen Institute, for Scott Cordes, Director of Budget and Innovation, and Jessica Brokaw, Deputy Director of Procurement, to attend CityLab 2016.

WHEREAS, the CityLab 2016 will convene in Miami, Florida on October 23, 24, 25, 2016; and
WHEREAS, Aspen Institute has offered to pay some costs associated with city staff attending the conference; and
WHEREAS, the city believes that having city staff attend the CityLab 2016 will be beneficial by equipping Saint Paul with the ideas and tools to advance innovative ideas and practices; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby accepts the gift for the airfare, lodging, and some meal expenses for the CityLab 2016 and thanks Aspen Institute for its generous gift.
