Authorizing the City to enter into Cooperative Agreement PW2016-08 with Ramsey County for the construction of APS facilities on Maryland Avenue and Shepard Road.

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul (City) and Ramsey County (County) desire to construct APS facilities on Maryland Avenue and Shepard Road
WHEREAS, Maryland Avenue, in the area affected by reconstruction, is designated County State Aid Highway 31 and is in the City; and
WHEREAS, Shepard Road, in the area affected by reconstruction, is designated County State Aid Highway 37 and is in the City; and
WHEREAS, Ramsey County Agreement PW2016-08 defines the engineering, administrative, and construction cost participation responsibilities of Ramsey County and the City of Saint Paul for implementation of the project; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Mayor and the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to enter into Ramsey County Agreement PW2016-08, a copy of which is before Council and is made a part hereof; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
