Accepting the gift of $415.75 for conference travel and room fees from the Center for Popular Democracy for Council President Russ Stark to attend the Local Progress National Convention in Pittsburgh, PA, July 8 - 9, 2016.

WHEREAS, Council President Russ Stark will have the opportunity to learn from and share ideas with other local elected officials from around the country; and
WHEREAS, the organization has offered to pay for half the cost of hotel of $240.75 and $175 for air travel; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul find that attendance at the conference will be beneficial to city development and implementing future policies within the city; now therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts the gift of $415.75 for the cost of hotel and registration to the Local Progress National Convention, and thanks Center for Poplar Democracy for the gift
