Amending the financing and spending plans in the Capital Budget for the Department of Public Works in the amount of $111,075 to add the Ramsey County portion of traffic signal work to be completed under the Signalized Intersection Safety Improvements Program.
Body
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works is working on an agreement with Ramsey County to have City Forces install Accessible Pedestrian Signals (APS) on the 2016 Ramsey County Mill and Overlay Projects along Shepard Road and Maryland Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has authorized City Force account work and assigned each intersection with the percentages for payment by the City and the County; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available additional funds of $111,075 in the Capital Improvement Budgets; and
Now, therefore be it, RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $111,075 is available for appropriation in the Capital Improvements Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvement Budgets in the following particulars:
