Authorizing the Fire Department to accept the donation of a 2014 Road Rescue ambulance from the Saint Paul Fire Foundation.

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Fire Foundation has offered to donate a 2014 Road Rescue ambulance valued at $99,087 to the Fire Department, and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department would like to accept the donation of the physical fitness equipment from the Fire Foundation, and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of this donation is to provide basic life support (BLS) operation support and bariatric patient transportation safety, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council, on behalf of the residents of Saint Paul, accept this donation of the ambulance from the Saint Paul Fire Foundation and extend their sincere appreciation to this organization.
