Comments:  Inspector issued a Correction Notice on 9/25/15 to discontinue parking on an unapproved surface with a compliance date of 10/1/15.  Property was re-inspected on 10/7/15 and vehicle was not in compliance. Property was re-inspected on 10/12/16 and vehicle was found to be in compliance. Inspector noted bags of garbage and rubbish in the yard and issued a summary abatement order. Property was re-inspected on November 23, 2016 and was in compliance on vehicle and SA.

History of Orders on Property:  Vehicle abatement orders issued on March 30 and July 30, 2015 for vehicle parked on unapproved surface with expired tabs.

AMENDED 10/5/16

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section has attached to this Council File both a report of completion outlining the costs and fees associated with  Excessive Use of Inspection/Abatement services billed during September 28 to October 21, 2015. (File No. J1606E2, Assessment No. 168305 168320) and the assessment roll including all properties for which these assessments are proposed for Council ratification; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed an appeal of this assessment and developed a recommendation for the City Council with respect to this assessment; and

 

WHEREAS, a public hearing having been conducted for the above improvement, and said assessment having been further considered by the Council and having been considered financially satisfactory; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that pursuant to Chapter 14 of the Saint Paul City Charter, said assessment is hereby laid over to October 5, 2016 Public Hearing.  If no same or similar, will delete the assessment. deleted.
