Final Order approving improvements on Raymond Avenue from Energy Park Drive to Como Avenue. (File No. 19190, Assessment No. 165200)

In the matter of reconstructing Raymond Avenue between Energy Park Drive and 100’ south of Como Avenue. The improvements include concrete curb and gutter, new bituminous roadway, some sidewalk improvements, ADA compliant pedestrian ramps, bike lanes and lantern style street lighting. The project does not include the intersection of Raymond and Como. The intersection will be reconstructed in 2017 as part of a Como Avenue project.

 

On-street parking will remain on the west side of Raymond Avenue between Blake Street and Brewster Avenue. Parking will be removed on the east side to allow for on-street bike lanes.

 

Under Preliminary Order:                     RES 16-451                                          approved 3/16/2016

 

WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul has conducted a public hearing upon the above improvement, due notice thereof having been given as prescribed by the City Charter; and

 

WHEREAS, the Council has heard all persons, objections and recommendations pertaining to said proposed improvement and has fully considered the same; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby order that the above-described improvement be made, and the proper City officers are hereby directed and authorized to proceed with the improvement; and be it

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon the completion of said improvement, the proper City officers shall calculate all expenses incurred therein and shall report the same to the City Council in accordance with Chapter 14 of the City Charter.
