Establishing an Earned Sick and Safe Time Task Force.

WHEREAS, on February 3, 2016, the Saint Paul City Council passed a resolution expressing its support for an earned sick and safe time policy for all employees in Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, the resolution asked that the Human Rights and Equal Economic Opportunity Commission convene a task force to engage the broader community in a conversation about the details of an earned sick and safe time policy; and
WHEREAS, the resolution asked that the Task Force be representative of the city’s businesses of all sizes and types, employees, organized labor, advocacy organizations and residents; and now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council consents to and approves the list of attached appointments, made by the Mayor, to the Earned Sick and Safe Time Task Force as outlined in RES 16-202.
