AMENDED 3/2/16

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 15-2153 accepted the Report of Completion for Excessive Use of Inspection or Abatement Service for Property Code Violations billed during the time period of August 24 to September 25, 2015; and

WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and

WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on March 2, 2016 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and

WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 14 of the City Charter, the assessments are hereby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:

RLH TA 16-39:  1103 Beech Street;

RLH TA 16-37:  617 Greenbrier Street;

RLH TA 16-31:  792 Lake Street;

RLH TA 16-50:  467 Maryland Avenue West (roll under 455 Maryland Avenue West);

RLH TA 16-32:  794 Maryland Avenue East;

RLH TA 16-XX:  1863 Ames Avenue - delete for separate consideration; to refer back to Legislative Hearing on March 15 and to continue the Public Hearing to April 6, 2016;

RLH TA 16-XX:  858 Burr Street - delete for separate consideration; to continue public hearing to March 16 (Legislative Hearing was March 1);

RLH TA 16-XX:  720 Hawthorne Avenue East - delete for separate consideration; to continue public hearing to March 16 (Legislative Hearing was March 1);

RLH TA 16-XX:  1152 Lane Place - delete for separate consideration; to continue public hearing to April 6 (Legislative Hearing was March 1); and be it further

RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment, unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer’s recommended amendments.
