Preliminary Order setting the date of Public Hearing for February 17, 2016 to consider approval of the improvements along Wheelock Parkway from Rice Street to Edgerton Street (File No. 19175B Assessment No. 165201).

In the matter of the improvements along Wheelock Parkway from Rice Street to Edgerton Street.
Improvements to be made as part of the project include constructing new bituminous surfaced streets, with concrete curb and gutter, concrete driveway aprons, bituminous path and boulevards landscaped with sod and trees, and sidewalks will be added where appropriate. The existing wood pole lights will be replaced with lantern style lights as part of the project. In addition, appropriate sanitary sewer repairs will be made, and storm and sanitary sewer reconnections will be made at the request of property owners.
The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the Mayor upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $11,525,384.00, financed by 8 to 80 Funds and Assessments.
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 17th day of February, 2016, at 5:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of Saint Paul.
3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
