Title

Approving adverse action against the Auto Repair Garage license held by Lowell Torgerson d/b/a Torgerson Truck Repair located at 18 Acker Street East in Saint Paul.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Auto Repair Garage license held by Lowell Torgerson d/b/a Torgerson Truck Repair (License ID #0015059) for the premises located at 18 Acker Street East in Saint Paul was the subject of a Notice of Intent to Suspend License dated December 18, 2015, stating the licensee failed to pay delinquent license and late fees and submit required information; and

 

WHEREAS, per Saint Paul Legislative Code §310.05 (m) (2), the licensing office also recommended a $500.00 matrix penalty for failure to submit required information to maintain the license; and  

 

WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Suspend License to pay the delinquent license and late fees and submit required information or request a hearing; and 

 

WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Suspend License stated that if the licensee failed to pay the delinquent license and late fees and submit the required information or request a hearing by December 28, 2015, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, the Auto Repair Garage license held by Lowell Torgerson d/b/a Torgerson Truck Repair is hereby suspended for failure to pay delinquent license and late fees.

 

FURTHER RESOLVED, the licensee is ordered to pay a matrix penalty of $500.00 for failure to submit required information in order to maintain the license.

 

FINALLY RESOLVED, the license will remain suspended until all delinquent license fees and penalties are paid in full and all required information is submitted to the Department of Safety and Inspections.
