WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Office of Technology and Communications wishes to enter into an agreement with Oracle America, Inc., which includes an indemnification clause;
WHEREAS, this agreement will provide access to Cloud-based data backup services to further redundancy, availability and disaster recovery of City data services;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the council approves entering into and authorizes the Office of Technology and Communications to enter into the agreement with Oracle America, Inc., which includes an indemnification clause in a form and content substantially as set forth in the attached.
