Body

WHEREAS, Wes Saunders-Pearce has been invited to speak at the 8^th Annual Growing Sustainable Communities Conference to be held in Dubuque, Iowa, on October 6-7, 2015; and

WHEREAS, Wes will present to conference attendees on the topic of rainwater harvesting at CHS Field; and

WHEREAS, the City of Dubuque has offered to pay up to $200 towards the cost of his travel and lodging expenses; and

WHEREAS, attendance at the conference will not only showcase the work being done in Saint Paul on sustainability but will offer an opportunity to hear experiences from other communities; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts the offer of reimbursement of travel and lodging expenses up to $200 for Wes Saunders-Pearce to attend the conference, and thanks the City of Dubuque for its generous gift.
